During 2012 the Google had launched its first nexus device called nexus 4. It was the first Android smartphone which supports all new android versions.It received all the updates directly in no time. But now google has launched its new devices and variants, recently google has launched nexus 6P. It has lots of features and it will get latest updates in No time. But in a case of nexus 4 and nexus 5, they both are devices which will not get any latest updates from google because of the Old models. Google has announced that the old nexus devices will not get any latest update from it but some developers are out there who develop the custom Roms fro nexus 4 and 5 device which is awesome for old nexus users . Android 7.0 nougat ROM has heaps of components yet have a few bugs on the grounds that the ROM was not official Launched for nexus 4 and 5 gadgets yet there are a few designers out there who will no leave nexus 4 and nexus 5 . so they made custom ROM for these devices but have some bugs . Prerequisites:
- First of all, You need to Root your device and install 2.8.7 TWRP recovery in your nexus 4 And download goomanager app on your google nexus 4 devices from play store
- Make sure you have decent battery level according to me 70 % is sufficient battery level
- Note this ROM is only for google nexus 4 . please don't try this ROM on other devices
- Now you need to backup of all your data like contacts Photos videos SMS apps and other files (It's better to be on the safer side)

How to install AOSP android Nougat 7.0 ROM on nexus 4 device
- First of all, you need to download the AOSP ROM and GAPPS Zip , in your nexus 4 device
- Now Turn off/ switch off your nexus 4
- Press and hold press & hold VOLDOWN + POWER button , it will get you to the bootloader of the device just select recovery mode from there to Boot into recovery section
- before applying updates make sure properly backup your ROMS and data . Go to backup option in TWRP and selection the partition including system, Data, Boot, recovery and swipe right to backup
- after completing the backup process processed to the next level
- Now Choose wipe data option in TWRP and swipe Right side
- then select advanced option wipe as well as clear Dalvik cache , system data, and cache (don't select internal storage )
- Next you ned to swipe confirm. wait for the wiping process to complete
- Now go to TWRP menu and locate the install ROM search or locate the ROM from your storage area and tap on it . Swipe to install ROM
- Now again go to TWRP menu and locate the GAPPS , choose the apps from there and swipe to right
- After installation completes successfully, select"reboot" . First boot will take up to 5-10 minutes don't panic your device will be on.
